Our Clinic
The Lymphedema & Wound Care Consultants founded in 1989, was the first lymphedema center in the Houston area. Since that time, we have developed a strong satellite program with numerous treatment centers, specializing in Lymphedema and wounds associated with lymphedema.
Our Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapists (CLT) are Vodder and Foldi certified, licensed by the State of Texas and trained by the Boston School of Advanced Compression, the Norton School of Lymphedema Management, the American Academy of Lymphatic Studies and the Southwest Institute for Advanced Compression.
Our clinical pathways were carefully researched and developed by our staff at the University of Texas Hermann Hospital, and clinical trials performed over the years have shown to support clinical efficacy.
Our company provides the most comprehensive lymphedema management program in the country. We offer full service lymphedema treatment centers that provide evaluation, treatment, education, compression supplies, compression stockings and sleeves and durable medical equipment for the lymphedema patient.

Erin Hamilton, LMT, CLT
Founder & Clinical Director
Ms. Erin Hamilton has dedicated her entire professional life to improving the quality of care and treatment for people with Lymphedema and is an innovator in this field. Ms. Hamilton developed a comprehensive treatment program for Lymphedema patients, resulting in significant improvement in the quality of life and continuum of care for her patients.
Ms. Hamilton is board certified in Advanced Lymphedema Treatment from Lymphatic Care Specialists and completed Wound Care Certification from the Wound Care Education Institute and Jefferson C. Davis Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center. Ms. Hamilton is trained in the Vodder, Foldi, and LeDuc methods of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD). Ms. Hamilton completed additional training in Deep Tissue Technique and Myofascial Release.
Erin enjoys her family, close friends, her animals, her faith and caring for others.

Adbul Moosa, M.D.

Dr. Moosa received his undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science, Biology from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA Bachelor of Science, Biology. Dr. Moosa received his Doctorate of Medicine from St. George’s University School of Medicine Grenada. Dr. Moosa is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and is Board Certified in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine.
Dr. Moosa has practiced family medicine in his private practice, in the greater Houston area, for the past 32 years. Dr. Moosa believes every patient has the right to be treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
Dr. Moosa and his wife volunteer locally and internationally, to provide medical care to those in need.
Michael Streitmann, M.D.

Dr. Streitmann received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his MD degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After completing an internship in General Surgery, as well as a residency in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, he moved on to complete a second residency in Plastic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, which included Cosmetic Surgery Training at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City.
Dr. Streitmann is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ENT), by the American Board of Plastic Surgery – and he’s also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Rebecca Nivers, D.P.M., CLT

Dr. Nivers attended Texas A & M University, where she earned her B.S. in Microbiology and Barry University, where she earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Nivers is certified in Lymphedema and has practiced podiatric medicine for the past 31 years. Dr. Nivers currently practices podiatry in the greater Houston area, serving the geriatric population.
Dr. Nivers volunteered at San Jose Clinic, where she served on the committee for new physicians and the Cathedral Clinic for the homeless, in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Nivers is a member of the National Lymphedema Network.
For the past ten years, she has volunteered for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Dr. Nivers has three grown children, which are the light of her life.
Joey Adolf, DC, CLT

Dr. Adolf received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and her doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College.
Dr. Adolf is a certified lymphedema provider and has treated lymphedema patients for over 10 years.
Dr. Adolf has practiced in her private practice in Houston, Texas since 2005. Her focus of care includes utilizing corrective care exercise therapy and postural correction for musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation.
In her spare time, Dr. Adolf enjoys camping, mountain biking, travel, and running 5ks with her family.
Allyson Neighbors, N.P.

Allyson Neighbors is a Family Nurse Practitioner working at the Webster location of Lymphedema and Wound Care Center. Allyson earned her master’s degree from UTMB in Galveston and is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She received her BSN from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center and also has a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.
Allyson is currently pursuing her doctorate of nurse practitioner, specializing in Lymphedema, at UTMB and will graduate in 2023.
Allyson has been on staff with the Lymphedema and Wound Care Consultants since 2017 and has practiced family medicine with Dr. Abdul Moosa since 2007.
Allyson is an active member of AANP and Galveston Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses.
